Shaista Momin revealed in an interview to a magazine that her paintings feature women in the society who are searching for identity since long. She further told that she paints women and her surroundings. She considers herself a drop of water that is an ocean in itself.
The main inspiration was Mexican artist Frida kahlo’s saga art work. She says that according to her, art is life itself and it gives her the feeling of being alive. She paints life the way she views it.
